G.O. Kids Course September – October TBD: afternoons/evenings Location: Center for Speech, Language and Learning
- A course for students in Grade 4 or higher, the G.O. Kids class is designed to teach students skills in the areas of time management, organization of school work, organizing study space and recreational space at home, as well as study skills. Course includes a pre-and post-meeting with parents, to educate the family regarding ways to improve organization in the students’ lives and environments.
- Tuition: $150.00
G.O. Kids Presentation September 22, 2009 6:30-8:00 pm Location: UNC Wellness Center
- Students (middle school through high school) and parents are invited to attend this innovative, informative workshop designed to teach strategies and systems to become a well-organized student.
- Topics to be covered include organizing the student’s physical spaces (desk, study areas, school materials & paperwork) as well as improving time management skills and study skills.
- Instructor Elisabeth Galperin is a licensed speech language therapist as well as a professional organizer, with training and experience in the areas of attention deficit (ADHD) and learning disabilities.
- Students and parents will gain a better understanding of how organization can greatly impact academic success as well as self-esteem and confidence.
